Meet Susan Antonellis

Dr. Susan Antonellis, Au.D., CCC-A, is an experienced audiologist with more than three decades of experience in clinical practice, teaching, and holds advanced expertise in aural rehabilitation, counseling, and geriatric audiology. She has directed major audiology programs and trained the next generation of professionals through her long tenure at the Au.D consortium/St. Johns University.
Throughout her career, Dr. Antonellis has been recognized for her outstanding contributions to the field. She has received multiple awards, including the Outstanding Leadership and Service Award from NYSSLHA, the Honors of the Association from the Long Island Speech Language Hearing Association, and the Mimi Katzen Award for Distinguished Clinical Service. She has also contributed to research and publications on hearing habilitation and rehabilitation, while mentoring graduate and doctoral students.
In addition to clinical excellence, Dr. Antonellis is a dedicated leader and advocate within professional organizations. She has served as President of the Long Island Speech Language Hearing Association (LISHA), held positions with the Board of Regional Association Presidents, and currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of HearSay for LISHA.
She is known for her compassion and commitment, she continues to advance audiology practice through patient care, professional service, and education.
